what do you feel is special about north queensland?

north queensland is a hidden gem on the map from magnetic island, cardwell springs to palm cove it’s hard to pick a favourite. we are pretty lucky here in townsville where we can take a drive north to crystal creek and plunge into the beautiful pebble filled creeks or south to billabong sanctuary where you can get up close to see the wildlife it’s all at our doorstep.

what australian destination do you dream of visiting?

hamilton Island goes down as my favourite destination in north queensland as I have many fond family holiday memories.

what do you feel is special about north queensland?

townsville north queensland is my bindal heritage, as a proud descendant of the bindal people, my ancestor before me have been able to sustain a long lasting environment for upcoming generations, and is now my responsibility to maintain for upcoming generations.

what australian destination do you dream of visiting?

the great barrier reef is a destination i would love to visit again, as it captures the meaning of our beautiful sea animals.

what do you feel is special about north queensland?

I believe it's the laid back lifestyle, incredible landscape and year round sunshine that makes north queensland special. it is the only place where I get to see tropical rainforests meet white sand beaches all topped off with the beautiful great barrier reef at my doorstep.

what australian destination do you dream of visiting?

after ticking the great barrier reef off my list I now dream of visiting the kimberley's and exploring it's amazing waterfalls and gorges

what do you feel is special about north queensland?

it’s rainforests !!! the gorgeous landscapes of thick deep green  The beautiful great barrier reef and maybe one of the most impressive landscapes is the point where they meet if you came up and you re lucky you’ll see -dinosaur like- southern cassowarys, crocodiles or the cute tree kangaroos! i’m so lucky as to live in one of my favourite places in australia: magnetic Island here you will wake up to the sound of birds singing, you can go for walks in rocky yet green mountains and chill at its beautiful bays. if you’re lucky you will see koalas !! 

what australian destination do you dream of visiting?

I can’t wait to go to uluru and western australia, from the kimberly area to margaret river, i’d love to see it all !!
